'Michael offers Advice to a Westbourne resident'

---------------------------------------------------------------

You can now access the advice services offered by Vital Advice through The Beethoven Centre Housing and Advice Drop In and Food Co-op.

Each week a variety of agencies are available to support you, aiming to help you get a more comprehensive response to your issues by speaking to all the agencies at once. This aims to provide you with more answers and solutions to you on going issues, especially with regards to housing.

As one of the visitors to the drop in commented:

“I have been to various places to get help around my housing issue, but have never received much support of help form anyone. This drop in is great as everyone is so helpful and it is useful to be able to speak to different agencies at once, as this has helped me to understand what I need to do next and given me a more ‘whole’ response. Everyone has been really friendly, supportive and it has really helped me ,much more than any other place I have visited.”
  • The Housing and Advice drop in includes Housing Officers and Welfare Officers from Acton Housing, City West Homes and PCHA, Octavia, Stadium alongside information around transfers and allocations from Westminsters’ Housing Options Service/ choice based letting.
  • The Queens park councillor or MP will available on a weekly basis to deal with your enquiries, concerns and complaints.
  • Queens Park Police team and City Guardians to support you around any community safety and antisocial behaviour issues.
  • Charities supporting the over 50’s, providing information on activities, welfare benefits advice and form filling and advocacy for all legal and welfare issues.
  • Environmental Health providing help and advice on private sector housing and environmental health issues.
