Trustees (Voluntary)

Vital Regeneration is seeking two motivated individuals to join its Board of Trustees.  We are particularly keen to find enthusiastic individuals who can help safeguard the future well-being and effectiveness of the charity as we drive forward our ambitious plans.  As an ambassador for the organisation you will champion integrity and performance.  We are seeking candidates who demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, independent judgement and creative thinking.

Experience in one of the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Corporate finance
  • (Social) enterprise
  • Fundraising and/or philanthropy
  • Organisation development & growth
  • Charity law and/or regulation
  • Marketing & communications
  • Property & investment
  • Relationship-building with senior policy makers

As a trustee you will champion good governance for the benefit of our clients and communities.  Externally you will help us build our networks, influence and our ability to access new sources of income.  In return you will be welcomed, engaged and active in making a positive difference to the quality of life of London's most disadvantaged communities.  Most importantly, you will be able to see the fruits of good governance in the quality of the work we deliver and the impact we make for local individuals, families and communities.

We are committed to equal opportunities and seek to build a diverse board of trustees.  We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community.  We pay trustees' travel expenses and provide a full induction to the work of the charity.  You will be expected to contribute up to 1.5 days of your time each quarter.

Please submit a cv and covering statement stating why you want to be a trustee of Vital Regeneration and your relevant skill-set and experience.
