History

Vital Regeneration was established in 2005 as an independent regeneration charity; however many of the centres and projects Vital Regeneration now manages, have been delivering services for more than 10 years. Vital Regeneration was established initially as a sustainability strategy for a number of key learning and enterprise assets which had been developed through the ‘Estate Action’ programmes of the 1990s – a decade long series of major works projects on dense housing estates in Westminster. These programmes were designed to support community regeneration through skills improvement, employment & enterprise support, creative activities, youth engagement and community facilities management.

Vital Regeneration exists to take forward this portfolio and to apply its regeneration expertise in designing and delivering solutions with and for communities experiencing deprivation.
